To write her latest novel “Blood Right”, set between the colonial past and the present of the great migrations, the writer Francesca Melandri carries out research in Italian archives and in Ethiopia, listening to witnesses and dealing with the repression of memory and fascism in our country. Thus he discovers that his father also has a different, and more surprising, story than the one that has always been told in the family.
