A double homicide in a small town in Sicily in 1980. The victims are two young men whose bodies are found in a last embrace. Archived without a real investigation or a trial, no one was ever convicted for the double murder.
Based on an investigation by Francesco Lepore, a former priest turned journalist and activist, the documentary reexamines this historic case and sheds light on the murders. The narrative unfolds through original shooting, archive and evocative reconstruction, merging in parallel the crime story with the personal point of view of those who fought for the truth to come out, giving rise to the LGBTQ movement in Italy.
