Is onilne our first crowdfunding campaign (www.indiegogo.com/lecoccinelle) to promote the documentary Le Coccinelle – Neapolitan Transsexual Melodrama, a first for the director Emanuela Pirelli, produced by B&B Film.

Le Coccinelle – Neapolitan Transsexual Melodrama is a moving docu-musical telling the story of a group of Neapolitan transsexual artists. Neapolitan trans are called ‘femminielli’, they come from the city’s back streets and are called upon to perform at first communions, weddings, confirmations and christenings. Those who have seen the preview of the film in Rome, have been moved and entertained. We have been selected for this year’s edition of the prestigious Torino Glbt Film Festival. Now we would like to bring the story of Le Coccinelle to as wide an audience as possible. With your help.

By sending a donation to this website: www.indiegogo.com/lecoccinelle, you will be helping us to produce a DVD of the film as well as organise a tour to as many cities as possible, where there will be screenings of the film followed by live shows by Le Coccinelle.
